My work and process mainly focus around how an object is used. I find this user centred design approach always keeps me asking questions like how a product works? How people read an object? What is the effect of the material chosen? And in turn this allows for a creative, fun approach when designing and re-designing.

I always strive for the most simple outcome when considering construction and the aesthetic, I believe semantics are paramount to achieving a good product.

I have a strong interest in longevity and quality, which has become more pertinent because of the current economic circumstances we find ourselves in today. I believe people are realising the worth and desirability of a well-made piece that has longevity over a cheaper alternative.
